I am preparing to launch a new makeup line and need hands-on support locating and vetting reliable OEM/ODM manufacturers in Vietnam or elsewhere in Asia. The initial range will focus on lip liner, highlighter, and bronzer, so the factories you recommend must already have proven colour-cosmetic capability and GMP or ISO 22716 certification.
Your assignment is to steer the entire sourcing and early product-development phase so I can move from concept to production-ready samples with confidence.
Key deliverables:
• Shortlist of at least five qualified factories with comparative matrix (MOQ, cost, lead time, compliance, available formulations, private-label flexibility)
• Factory audit reports or verified third-party QC summaries
• Ingredient and formulation options aligned to my brief, plus shade library suggestions for each SKU
• Sample procurement and evaluation feedback, including stability and wear tests
• Packaging options sourced locally or regionally, complete with print-ready dielines and cost breakdowns
• Timeline and recommended next steps through to pilot run
Additional preferences:
- Experience in cosmetic manufacturing, beauty product development, supplier negotiation, or Asian manufacturing is required.
- Direct sourcing experience from Vietnam is highly preferred.
- Initial focus will be on lip glosses and lip liners with plans to expand into more cosmetics as the line grows.
Acceptance criteria:
– All shortlisted factories must be willing to sign an NDA and provide COA/MSDS for raw materials.
– Pricing and MOQ figures must be no older than 30 days at submission.
– Samples must arrive defect-free and match agreed Pantone or LAB colour values within ΔE ≤ 1.5.
Communication can be in English; Vietnamese-speaking ability is a plus for on-site liaison but not mandatory as long as factory responses are accurately translated. My goal is to lock in a manufacturing partner within six weeks, so please be ready to start outreach immediately and keep me updated with concise progress reports every few days.
