DaVinci Resolve Video Editor: 50–60 Sec Corporate Profiles (Ongoing)
We’re looking for a skilled DaVinci Resolve video editor to take over the editing of an ongoing series of short corporate business profiles.
We have regular work available and are looking to start immediately. As soon as we find the right editor, we are ready to begin sending projects through.
This is intended to become a long-term working relationship, with additional opportunities across our corporate and construction video work.
PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE APPLYING
A completed example video and footage for a new project are available at the link below:

Please review the files before applying.
Only enquire if you are willing to submit a trial edit using the supplied footage. We are actively looking for an editor now and will begin working with the right person as soon as they are found.
The trial will involve creating a short edit in the same general format as the completed example.
THE VIDEOS
Each project results in a 50–60 second corporate profile video featuring a local business.
The format is simple and consistent:
- A business representative speaks about their business and the local area
- The strongest moments from the interview are selected and arranged into a concise 50–60 second story
- Aesthetic footage of the business is used as B-roll
- B-roll supports what is being discussed and naturally covers cuts in the talking-head footage
You will receive the complete interview and associated B-roll for each project.
The most important skill for this role is editorial judgement. We need someone who can review the interview, identify the strongest moments and construct a natural, engaging 50–60 second story without us having to provide timestamps or specify every cut.
YOUR ROLE
For each video, you will:
- Review the supplied interview footage
- Identify and select the strongest dialogue
- Build a clear and engaging 50–60 second narrative
- Make dialogue cuts feel natural
- Select appropriate B-roll
- Use B-roll to support the story and cover interview cuts
- Create a clean, professional and well-paced sequence
- Return an organised DaVinci Resolve project
These are intentionally straightforward edits. We are not looking for elaborate motion graphics, excessive transitions or effects. Good storytelling and clean editing are far more important.
NO COLOUR GRADING OR AUDIO PROCESSING REQUIRED
We complete the final colour grade, audio processing and finishing in-house.
Footage will generally be supplied in Sony S-LOG3 and should remain ungraded in the project you return. The interview microphone audio should also remain unprocessed.
Your responsibility is the main edit: dialogue selection, storytelling, B-roll selection, sequencing and pacing.
DAVINCI RESOLVE IS REQUIRED
This role is exclusively for editors who work in DaVinci Resolve.
Our entire post-production workflow is built around Resolve, and we need to receive the native DaVinci Resolve project so that we can continue working on the timeline internally.
Please do not apply if you work exclusively in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or another editing platform.
ONGOING WORK
This is not a one-off project.
We produce these 50–60 second corporate profiles regularly and want to find someone who can become our go-to editor for them.
The format remains consistent, so once you become familiar with our style, the workflow should become increasingly straightforward.
We also have additional editing work across corporate and construction videography, so there is potential for considerably more work for the right editor.
We value reliability and consistency and would much rather build a lasting relationship with one editor than continually hire different freelancers.
HOW TO APPLY
Before applying, please review the example and trial footage linked at the beginning of this listing.
If you are interested in completing the trial, please send:
1. 2–3 examples of relevant corporate, interview or talking-head work
2. Confirmation that you edit in DaVinci Resolve
3. Which version of DaVinci Resolve you currently use
4. Your typical turnaround time for a 50–60 second video
We are reviewing editors immediately and will begin sending ongoing work as soon as we find the right person.
