Job Title: Senior Project Director – Core Banking Implementation (Turnkey Advisory)
Overview: We are looking for an elite Project Director with deep expertise in banking technology transformations to lead an independent turnkey consultancy for a national development bank's Core Banking System (CBS) replacement project. You will act as the principal interface with the Executive Commission, manage project governance across 8 operational stages, and oversee a multidisciplinary technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and govern the end-to-end execution of Phase 1 (Planning & Selection) and Phase 2 (Implementation to Post Go-Live).
Oversee PMO setup, project baseline definitions, milestone approvals, and risk management.
Maintain direct communication channels with the bank's Executive Commission and senior steering committees.
Required Skill Set:
10+ years of hands-on experience managing Tier-1 or Tier-2 core banking migrations.
Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or AgilePM).
Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory for stakeholder management and local regulatory alignments).
Strong mastery of vendor negotiations, milestone-based contract control, and executive reporting.
