I’m preparing a full core-banking replacement and need a specialist who can take ownership of two critical streams: the end-to-end data-mapping strategy from our legacy systems into the new relational model and the final financial-statement reconciliation that proves every cent lands in the right place before we go live.
You will design and document the mapping logic, build the ETL pipelines, and work side-by-side with our Portuguese-speaking finance and IT teams to validate each rule. Once the pipelines run, I’ll look to you to reconcile GL balances, customer positions, and every subsidiary ledger until we hit 100 % accuracy. Mock migration cycles are already planned by the wider programme team; your outputs must plug straight into those rehearsals so the data track never becomes the bottleneck.
Our target stack is a modern relational database (SQL-based), so advanced SQL scripting, performance-tuning skills, and hands-on experience with enterprise ETL tools are essential. Prior work inside regulated banking environments—especially where accounting integrity was audited—is a must.
Deliverables I expect from you
• Comprehensive source-to-target mapping workbook, signed off by business and tech stakeholders
• Automated ETL jobs (code + runbooks) ready for deployment in our CI/CD pipeline
• Reconciliation artefacts: control totals, cross-checks, and executive summary proving 100 % balance agreement
I’ll review each milestone against data-quality KPIs (completeness, accuracy, timeliness) and accounting tolerances of zero. If you thrive under tight cut-over deadlines, let’s talk.
