Copilot ROE Calculation Agent

I am looking to have a small Copilot-style agent set up that takes my basic financial data—think balance sheet figures and net income—and instantly returns an accurate Return on Equity figure. The idea is to drop in the numbers for whichever period I choose, hit run, and see the ROE without fuss.

You’re free to build in the environment that makes the most sense—Excel with Copilot enabled, a Power BI script, or a lightweight Python notebook that I can open and use straight away. What matters is that:

• I can paste or import equity and net-income data and immediately see the ROE.
• The formula and any underlying code are easy for me to read and modify later.
• A brief walkthrough or inline documentation explains where each input goes and how the period logic works.

If you have suggestions on improving usability—drop-down period selectors, automatic data pulls from a workbook, or similar—I’m open to them so long as the final file remains clean and lightweight.
