I have a straight-forward fitness guide that does everything right from a technical point of view, yet feels flat on the page. I want to reshape that material into a true storybook—one that weaves the workouts, nutrition tips, and mindset advice into a compelling narrative readers can’t put down.
You’ll receive my current manuscript, scattered notes on character ideas, and the complete workout schedule. Your job is to transform all of it into a cohesive, engaging story while keeping the fitness science accurate and actionable. I’m open on tone and target audience; we can decide together whether the voice leans humorous, inspirational, or somewhere between. What matters most is that the reader finishes each chapter entertained, informed, and motivated to move.
Please bring:
• Proven creative writing chops, ideally with health or wellness themes
• Familiarity with strength training concepts, basic nutrition, and habit-building psychology
• An eye for pacing so lessons never feel like lectures
Deliverables I’m expecting:
1. A complete story-driven manuscript (Word or Google Docs) ready for copy-edit
2. A brief scene-by-scene outline so I can track how the fitness lessons unfold
3. Two revision rounds after my feedback
If you can breathe narrative life into raw fitness instruction and keep readers turning pages and doing burpees, let’s talk.
