I already have the artwork as a high-resolution PNG, but the print shop needs a true vector file with a clean contour cut line. Your task is to recreate the design in Adobe Illustrator (or comparable vector software), define an accurate “CutContour” path, and size everything for a medium-scale vehicle decal—somewhere in the 12″–36″ range on its longest edge.
Because this will be printed and kiss-cut, every curve must be smooth, colors set to CMYK, and the cut path placed on a separate spot color layer that the printer can recognize instantly. No visible white borders, no stray anchor points, and the final art should scale without pixelation.
Deliverables (all required):
• AI or EPS master file with editable vectors and named cut path
• Press-ready PDF that mirrors the AI file exactly
• Quick-view JPEG for approval
I’ll sign off once the PDF opens flawlessly in my RIP software and the cut line registers as a spot color. If you’re comfortable vectorizing raster art and setting professional trim paths for decals, this should be a straightforward project.
