We're looking for a writer to produce articles and longer pieces based on briefs we provide. Topics are practical rather than creative: guides, explanations, comparisons, and how-to content for our readers. Each assignment comes with a brief, a target length, and examples of the style we use, so you'll know what's expected before you start.
We care more about clear structure and careful research than about a long portfolio. If you can read a brief, organize your thoughts, and write in plain language, you'll fit in well. We review your first few pieces and give feedback so you can get up to speed quickly.
On a typical assignment you'll read the brief and the reference materials, plan the structure, write the draft, and edit it for clarity and accuracy before submitting. You'll check facts against the sources we provide, follow our formatting guidelines, and meet the agreed deadline. If something in the brief is unclear, you ask before writing rather than guessing.
What matters to us: clear and correct writing in English, the ability to follow a brief and structure a longer piece, careful research and fact-checking, attention to detail in formatting and links, and reliability, meaning you meet deadlines and communicate early if something changes.
What you get: flexible hours you can plan around your day, remote work from anywhere, clear briefs and examples for every assignment, feedback on your first pieces, and ongoing part-time work with a steady flow of articles.
