Consumer Product 3D CAD Modeling

I have a new consumer-grade enclosure that needs to move from concept to the factory floor, and I’m looking for an experienced CAD designer who can turn my rough sketches and key dimensions into a fully detailed 3D model ready for machining. The design must be clean, accurate, and built with manufacturability in mind—proper draft angles, wall thicknesses, snap-fit or screw bosses where appropriate, and clear tolerances that a CNC shop can rely on.

You’ll be working from reference photos, hand sketches, and a short feature list that I’ll share once we start. I’m happy to jump on a quick call to clarify intent, materials, or assembly requirements so you can hit the ground running.

Deliverables
• The native CAD file in your preferred software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar)
• Neutral formats (.STEP and .IGES) for the machine shop
• A simple dimensioned drawing or exploded view that highlights critical fits and fastener locations

Once the model passes my fit-check review, I’ll release final approval so you can export the hand-off files. If you’ve taken similar products all the way to production before, that experience will be a big plus. I’m ready to get started right away—let’s build something great.
