Construction Stock Android App Development

I need an Android application that lets my construction teams track every bag of cement, length of re-bar, or box of screws the moment it arrives on site and again when it is used. The very first release must focus on a single workflow: recording materials received and materials consumed.

Whenever a worker opens the app, they should be able to enter the material name, the quantity, who handled it, and the exact project area it was delivered to or installed in. Site workers and supervisors alike must have permission to create, edit, or correct these records; everyone else simply views the running totals.

Data has to update in real time when a connection is available and queue safely for sync while offline, because many zones of the site have poor coverage. A clean dashboard that totals current stock and flags negative balances would be a plus, but it can wait until the core tracking flow is stable.

I work best with clear, testable milestones, so I would like:
• APK for on-device testing
• Complete Android Studio project with readable, well-commented code
• Simple cloud or on-prem database set-up script (Firebase, Supabase, or similar—open to your recommendation)
• One-page quick-start guide so I can deploy a new build myself

After this foundation is solid, I may extend the app to handle supplier requests and shortage alerts, so please build with modularity in mind.
