Configure AI Automated Web Tester

I need an end-to-end, AI-driven test harness wired into our web application. Your first task will be to evaluate the current landscape of intelligent testing platforms—whether that is a SaaS tool with an open API, a self-hosted agent that sits behind an MCP server, or an approach that layers generative AI on top of a browser automation framework such as Playwright or Selenium. Once you have identified the best fit, you will integrate it so the system can:

• Navigate our core user flows in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
• Flag visual and UX regressions, broken links, and layout shifts
• Verify functional parity across the two browsers
• Generate performance insights when pages are under load and surface bottlenecks in an easy-to-read report

Deliverables I will accept:
1. A fully configured AI testing environment connected to our staging and production branches
2. A starter suite of autonomous test cases that exercise critical user journeys, with clear examples of the AI’s defect output
3. A short setup & maintenance guide that allows our developers to add new scenarios or extend coverage in the future
4. Sample reports (HTML or JSON) showing the tool catching at least one UI issue, one cross-browser discrepancy, and a performance warning

If you can also pipe the results into our existing CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions) and set up Slack or email notifications, that is a bonus but not mandatory.
