I already have cad drawings of these.
I have two proprietary precast-concrete brackets that need a Montana-licensed engineer’s seal so I can move them into production and field use.
1. The first is a U-shaped, bolt-on steel bracket that fastens to a 3-ply, 6-inch-wide post, then anchors to finished concrete.
2. The second is a “wet-set” version with three 18-inch rebar legs that sink into fresh concrete; once the slab cures, the post bolts to the exposed plate.
Both bracket styles—and every concrete connection associated with them—must be covered in the stamped plans. They will carry building posts, so the design has to satisfy Montana code requirements for full building support loads, including local snow and wind loads.
Please provide:
• Signed and stamped structural drawings for each bracket style, showing steel sizes, welding or bolt specs, embedment details, edge distances, and concrete thickness/reinforcement where applicable.
• Calculations that verify capacity under the combined building, snow, and wind loads called out by current Montana amendments to the IBC.
• Any notes the installer must see on placement tolerances, concrete strength, or post-connection hardware.
I can forward sketches, dimensions, and material grades immediately. Let me know if you also need CAD files or a short call to clarify assumptions before you begin.
