Overview

Seeking a talented freelance concept artist to assist with the design and visualization of collectible objects, symbolic products, luxury goods, and unique physical artifacts.

This is an ongoing freelance opportunity for an artist who enjoys creating highly detailed object designs while documenting the creative process.

The ideal candidate should be capable of developing beautiful concept artwork from written creative briefs, reference material, and existing concept renderings.

Responsibilities
Concept Development

Create visual concepts based on:

Written creative briefs
References and inspiration boards
Existing concept renders
Product descriptions
Design objectives

Projects may include:

Collectible objects
Coins and medallions
Rings and jewelry
Decorative objects
Symbolic and story-driven products
Luxury gift items
Desktop display pieces
Limited-edition collectibles
Design Exploration

Develop multiple variations of a concept, including:

Decorative alternatives
Different layouts and structures
Material concepts
Ornamentation
Symbol placement
Engraving concepts
Detail enhancements

A willingness to iterate and explore multiple directions is important.

Digital Illustration

Digital illustration will be the primary workflow.

Artists may use:

Procreate
Photoshop
Illustrator
Clip Studio Paint
Similar professional illustration tools
Screen Recording Requirement

When creating artwork digitally, the entire design process must be recorded.

Examples include:

Initial sketching
Design blocking
Refinement
Detail work
Shading
Finalization

Time-lapse or full-session recordings are acceptable.

These recordings will be used to showcase the design evolution process.

Traditional Drawing Capability

While digital illustration is expected to be the primary workflow, some projects may occasionally require traditional hand-drawn artwork.

The ideal artist should also be comfortable creating:

For traditional artwork assignments, artist should be capable of recording the process.

Strong preference for artists who can capture high-quality close-up footage of the creation process.
