I am running a hypersonic scramjet-inlet simulation in COMSOL Multiphysics and need a second set of expert eyes to validate my current setup. The work centres on thermal analysis only; pressure recovery and shock interactions are outside this scope. At the wall I am enforcing an adiabatic condition, so the review must confirm that the energy equation and turbulence/thermochemistry models are consistent with that constraint.

Here is what I expect from you:
• Audit of my model tree—physics interfaces, material properties, mesh strategy and solver settings—to verify they match accepted hypersonic practice for an adiabatic wall.
• Correction or optimisation suggestions, documented step by step inside the COMSOL file (v6.2) and summarised in a short memo.
• A brief comparison run using either published experimental data or an analytically derived Stanton-number profile so we can quantify the thermal prediction accuracy.

I will supply my current .mph file, reference geometry and the limited validation data already gathered. If additional sub-models (e.g., SST turbulence tuning, multi-species chemistry) are advisable, please flag them and explain the rationale.

Once your feedback is integrated and temperatures along the inlet ramp converge within an agreed tolerance of the reference curve, I will consider the task complete.
