Comprehensive Quantity Surveying Support

I’m looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can step in across every stage of my construction pipeline. The portfolio ranges from small-scale residential builds through commercial developments right up to infrastructure works, so versatility and an up-to-date understanding of industry standards are essential.

Your core tasks will centre on:
• Precise cost estimation based on drawings, specs or site measurements, delivered in a clear, auditable format (Excel, CostX, or a similar platform).
• Full preparation of the Bill of Quantities with measured take-offs that align with SMM7 or the relevant local method of measurement.
• Ongoing contract management, including progress valuations, variation assessments and final account preparation in line with NEC or FIDIC conditions where applicable.

Acceptance criteria
• All figures traceable to source measurements or rates.
• Variations logged with supporting documentation and agreed in writing before inclusion.
• BoQ issued in both native file and PDF, structured for immediate tendering or procurement use.
• Weekly status update until hand-over of final deliverables.
