Comprehensive Digital & Handwriting Forensics

This legal case hinges on the authenticity of several data sets and written signatures. The scope covers two intertwined tracks:

Digital track
• Forensically image and examine emails, chat logs and attached files that have already been preserved in PST and E01 form.
• Verify metadata, header routes, hash values and any signs of tampering.
• Confirm or refute the integrity of embedded DocuSign stamps and audit trails, producing a clear chain-of-custody log that will stand up in court.

Handwriting track
• Compare questioned signatures against known exemplars drawn from wet-ink originals and high-resolution scans.
• Detail stroke order, pressure patterns and any indications of autopen, cut-and-paste or digital overlay.

Deliverables
1. A single, court-ready report (PDF) that merges findings from both tracks, written in plain language with technical appendices.
2. All supporting exhibits (hash lists, metadata tables, microscopic imagery) clearly cross-referenced.
3. An affidavit or declaration of authenticity signed under penalty of perjury, formatted to the jurisdiction I will specify once work begins.

Acceptance criteria
• Procedures must follow NIST/ISO 17025 or comparable guidelines, with tool output traceable (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite where applicable).
• Every opinion on handwriting must be tied to at least three observable characteristics and backed by photographic evidence.
• All digital findings must include hash verification and a repeatable step outline.

Turnaround: an initial summary within few weeks of data receipt, final report within two weeks unless we agree otherwise. Remote work is fine; exhibits can be transferred via encrypted container or shipped on a write-blocked drive as long as chain-of-custody is maintained.
