I’m building a one-off electromechanical rig for a video shoot and need an engineer who can turn my early concept into a fully documented, composite-cased prototype. The system ties together small motors, a microcontroller board, camera modules, a handful of sensors, and a rechargeable battery pack.
THE DESIGN HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE BY ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL, you just need to re-create it. I have a video documenting how it was made as reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpMxOmUcfOI
Electronics and firmware are already detailed.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Refined system architecture with final component selection
• 3D CAD of all custom parts plus the complete assembly in a common format (STEP preferred)
• Structural analysis or reasoning to justify the chosen composite lay-ups/thicknesses
• Detailed wiring and electronics diagrams that align with the mechanical layout
• Well-commented firmware ready to run on the selected microcontroller
• A full BOM with supplier links and part numbers
• Assembly and functional test instructions so I can reproduce the build in my workshop
Real-world experience taking electromechanical products from concept to functioning prototype is essential. When you reply, link to past work that showcases relevant robotics, embedded electronics, or mechatronics projects—working videos or photos are ideal.
I’m ready to begin as soon as I find the right partner and will stay responsive throughout the design, review, and iteration cycles.
