I’m preparing a 23-metre yacht for A1 commercial compliance with AMSA so it can operate passenger charter and tourism trips around Australia. All accurate measurements, photos and reference notes are already organised; what I lack is a disciplined set of drawings that tick every AMSA box.

Here’s the full scope. Using the dimensions I supply, I need a drafter / designer who already understands Australian commercial vessel requirements to transform the data into a complete drawing package: structural plans, general arrangement and layout, plus the full suite of service drawings covering electrical, plumbing, fire, fuel, HVAC and any other systems normally reviewed at this level of survey. The resulting files must be clear enough for the naval architect and surveyor to sign off and must follow Australian standards for notation, scale and title-block information so the submission process to AMSA is smooth.

Deliverables I’ll be looking for
• Digital drawing set (DWG + PDF) covering structure, layout and every service system
• A brief drawing register so the surveyor can cross-reference quickly
• Any supporting calcs or schedules that the standards normally require (cable sizing, vent areas, pump capacities, etc.)

Because time lines are tight, knowledge of the local codes and the usual surveyor questions is essential—this is less about artistic rendering and more about compliance accuracy. If you have done AMSA or NSCV drawings before, tell me. I’ll share the measurement pack the moment we agree on milestones so you can start drafting straight away.
