I am looking for an experienced architect / civil engineer to prepare a complete, construction-ready design package for an independent house in India.
I have existing plans, sketches and design references that can be shared with the selected freelancer. The goal is to get detailed drawings and material quantities so I can hire a local contractor separately and compare construction quotations.
**Scope of work**
1. **Architectural drawings:** Dimensioned floor plans, elevations, sections, staircase details and construction details, accounting for different floor levels where applicable.
2. **Structural drawings:** Foundation, footing, column, beam, slab and reinforcement details, designed by a qualified structural engineer based on site and soil information.
3. **Electrical and plumbing:** Detailed layouts for wiring, lighting, power outlets, water supply and drainage.
4. **Detailed BOQ:** Item-wise quantities for cement, steel, concrete, bricks/blocks, sand, aggregates, plaster, flooring, waterproofing and other relevant materials.
5. **Cost estimate:** Material specifications, estimated construction costs, and clearly stated assumptions and exclusions.
**Deliverables**
- PDF detailed designs (Optional Editable AutoCAD DWG files )
- Structural drawings and calculations.
- Detailed BOQ with measurement sheets in Excel.
- Material specifications and an item-wise cost estimate.
**Please include in your proposal**
- Portfolio of similar residential projects and samples of technical drawings.
- Fixed total fee with a breakdown of deliverables.
- Timeline and revisions included.
- Confirmation of who will handle structural engineering and whether BOQ preparation is included.
- Any additional charges or exclusions.
I am open to working remotely with a suitable professional anywhere in India. My priority is practical, safe, buildable design and accurate material quantities at a reasonable cost, rather than expensive visualisations.
