I need a single, construction-ready design package for a 2 500 m² industrial hangar that will operate as a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) station inside an airport. The facility must seamlessly combine a GSE maintenance hangar, an air-cargo terminal with dedicated loading / unloading bays, and extensive outdoor infrastructure such as parking, internal roads, access routes, equipment storage aprons, and service yards.
Scope of work
The assignment covers full Architectural, Structural and MEP engineering, coordinated to IFC level. Your drawings and calculations must allow a contractor to break ground the moment they are approved. In practical terms, that means:
• Integrated architectural layout: clear workflow between the maintenance bay, workshops, cargo processing zone, offices, and staff / visitor circulation.
• Robust structural system sized for wide-span hangar doors, overhead cranes and large mobile GSE.
• Complete MEP design (HVAC, power distribution, lighting, data, fire protection and fuel / wash-down utilities) sized for round-the-clock GSE servicing and cargo handling.
• External works: pavement design for heavy equipment loads, drainage, signage, security fencing, and tie-ins to the airport’s existing networks.
• Fully coordinated BIM/2D deliverables, technical specifications and a quantified bill of materials.
Acceptance criteria
1. All plans, sections, elevations and schedules match local aviation authority and building-code requirements.
2. Structural, HVAC and electrical calculations are submitted alongside drawings.
3. Clash-free BIM model (Revit or equivalent) issued in native and IFC formats.
4. Complete package passes my review and is ready for permitting without revision.
If you lead multidisciplinary hangar projects and can commit to a fast, well-documented turnaround, let’s discuss timeline and milestone delivery right away.
