I’m building a full-featured freelancing marketplace that serves both freelancers and clients in a single, seamless environment. The core of the project is threefold: rich user profiles, a robust job-posting and bidding flow, and secure payment processing.

Every person who signs up will fall into one of two roles—freelancer or client—yet must be able to switch or hold both roles under one account. Registration needs straightforward email verification and a follow-up phone number check so we keep fake accounts off the site from day one.

Key deliverables I expect:
• User registration with email + SMS verification flows
• Role-based dashboards with editable profiles and portfolio sections
• Job creation, bidding, proposal management, and award workflow
• Escrow-style payment processing and payout module

You’re free to recommend the tech stack, but I lean toward mainstream, well-supported frameworks that can scale quickly (think Laravel, Node, Django, or similar) paired with a responsive front-end. Payment integration should rely on a widely used gateway such as Stripe or PayPal for easier compliance.

Once the initial build is done, I’ll run a short beta; therefore, the codebase should be clean, documented, and ready for iterative feature additions. Let’s discuss timelines and any questions you have so we can get this marketplace live.
