# Flutter Developer Needed to Complete Existing Social & Voice Chat App — Taktak Chat

## Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to work on our existing social and voice-chat application, **Taktak Chat**.

The application already has an existing codebase. This is not a project to build from scratch. We need a developer who can understand the current implementation, fix incomplete or broken features, improve the UI, integrate backend APIs, and help prepare the app for a stable release.

The developer will work alongside a separate backend developer, so experience integrating REST APIs and real-time Socket.IO events is important.

## Phase 1 Scope of Work

### 1. Mine Page and Recommended Page
- Fix the Mine page so recently followed users and friends display correctly.
- Show accurate online/offline status and hide offline rooms where required.
- Fix the Recommended page, which should appear first as agreed with the client.
- Display top performers and recommended users using backend-provided data.
- Implement the approved recommendation display criteria.

### 2. Party Page and Room Cards
- Fix the global back-button and navigation issues.
- Display user profile information on room cards.
- Hide room IDs from the user-facing interface.
- Fix layout and navigation inconsistencies.

### 3. Messages Page
This is a high-priority area.

- Improve and stabilize the Messages page.
- Remove intimacy level from message cards.
- Fix conversation states, loading indicators, empty states, and error handling.
- Integrate the agreed chat options and calling controls with backend APIs.

### 4. Me Page
- Fix spectator-related UI functionality.
- Display coin balances correctly.
- Display diamond system records using backend data.
- Ensure balances and records are not hardcoded.

### 5. Moments and Gifting
- Display the correct photo approval status: pending, approved, or rejected.
- Integrate photo uploading and status updates with the backend moderation workflow.
- Enable gifting on eligible, approved Moment photos when the backend supports the functionality.
- Reflect expired or deleted Moments correctly in the UI.

### 6. Audio Room UI
- Fix existing room layout and UI issues.
- Ensure controls do not overlap or become inaccessible.
- Display the correct live-member count supplied by the backend.
- Implement half-screen messaging.
- Implement room sharing through WhatsApp, in-app friends, and copy-link functionality where supported.
- Display level-dependent entry title banners and entry effects.
- Add controls for disabling entry effects and other agreed special effects.
- Ensure welcome messages and music follow the intended visibility rules.
- Display the level bar inside the gift box.
- Fix or implement gifting trajectory animations.

### 7. Other UI Features
- Fix or implement Lucky Gift animations.
- Build or complete the Honor Wall interface.
- Build or complete the Dress Store and Backpack interfaces.
- Integrate the Level System UI, including level progress and associated effects.

The exact implementation scope will be finalized after reviewing the existing codebase.

## Expected Deliverables

1. Initial audit of the existing Flutter codebase.
2. List of existing issues and features that need fixing or completion.
3. Updated Flutter source code committed to the agreed repository.
4. Working integration with the backend developer's APIs and real-time events.
5. A testable Android build for review.
6. Testing report and a list of any remaining known issues.
7. Build instructions and technical handover documentation.

## Required Skills

- Strong Flutter and Dart experience.
- Experience maintaining and debugging existing mobile applications.
- REST API integration and asynchronous state management.
- Socket.IO or equivalent real-time communication experience.
- Experience implementing complex UI states and animations.
- Git, debugging, Android builds, and release preparation.

Experience with social networking, messaging, gifting, virtual currencies, or voice-chat applications is a major advantage.
