# Chat and Audio Live application— Phase 1 Development & Completion

## Project Overview

Chat and Audio Live application is a social networking and voice-chat mobile application. We are looking for an experienced Flutter and backend developer to help complete and stabilize the existing application.

This is an existing project, not a greenfield development project. The app already has a substantial codebase, and the freelancer will be expected to understand the existing architecture, work with the current implementation, fix incomplete functionality, and deliver production-quality results.

## Technology Stack

- **Mobile App:** Flutter / Dart
- **Backend:** NestJS / Node.js
- **Database:** PostgreSQL with Prisma ORM
- **Real-time Communication:** Socket.IO and the existing voice communication integration
- **Infrastructure:** Redis and cloud-hosted backend services

## Phase 1 Scope of Work

1. **Codebase Audit:** Review the existing Flutter app, backend APIs, database structure, and real-time communication flows.
2. **Voice Chat Rooms:** Complete and stabilize room joining and leaving, the 8-seat microphone system, mute/unmute controls, seat locking, hand-raising, and host moderation.
3. **Real-Time Synchronization:** Ensure room participants, microphone states, seat availability, and room events remain synchronized across users and reconnects.
4. **Backend Reliability:** Fix existing API and Socket.IO issues, handle concurrent requests safely, and improve error handling.
5. **Existing Feature Fixes:** Identify and resolve broken or incomplete functionality in the current application without unnecessarily rewriting working modules.
6. **Testing and Stabilization:** Test the core user flows, resolve critical bugs, and verify that the app and backend work together reliably.
7. **Handover:** Deliver updated source code, a summary of changes, setup and deployment instructions, and a list of remaining issues.

## Freelancer Requirements

- Proven experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong experience with NestJS, Node.js, and REST APIs.
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Prisma, Redis, and Socket.IO.
- Experience debugging real-time applications and voice-chat or social applications.
- Ability to work with an existing codebase and understand its architecture before making changes.
- Familiarity with production deployment, performance optimization, and application security.

## Expected Deliverables

- Working implementation of the agreed Phase 1 scope.
- Updated Flutter and backend source code.
- Tested APIs and real-time event flows.
- Bug-fix and testing report.
- Deployment and handover documentation.
- Demonstration of completed features against agreed acceptance criteria.

## Proposal Requirements

## Important Conditions

We prefer milestone-based payments tied to demonstrable progress and acceptance of deliverables. Existing working features should not be broken during development. All changes must be committed to the agreed repository, and the completed work must be handed over with the necessary documentation and intellectual property rights.
