Compile Surgical Error Timelines

I have a set of surgical-error malpractice files that need to be turned into clear, chronological timelines. For every case, I only need the surgical-procedure component, with an emphasis on the exact start-to-finish duration of the operation.

The source material is already organised by patient, but the operative reports, nurses’ notes, and anaesthesia records still have to be sifted and distilled. Your job is to pull those key time stamps, confirm their consistency across the chart, calculate the total time the patient was in the theatre, and present that information in an easy-to-scan format I can drop straight into legal briefs.

Deliverable
• One timeline per case (Word table or Excel sheet is fine) showing:
– Date of surgery
– Time patient entered and exited the operating room
– Total surgery duration (calculated)
– Citations to the specific page or line in the record where each time stamp was found

Acceptance Criteria
• All times cross-verified against at least two chart sources
• Durations accurate to the minute
• No patient identifiers included—case numbers only

If you are comfortable navigating medical records, understand surgical documentation, and can move quickly while staying meticulous, this should be a straightforward assignment.
