Commercial Gym Electrical Design - 13/09/2026 17:02 EDT

I am fitting-out a new 600 m² commercial gym and need a certified electrical engineer to turn my concept layout into a complete, code-compliant design package.

The scope centres on two areas:

• Lighting – I have a current layout design to use and need to include, gym, rooms and fight gym, reception and back-of-house, plus fully detailed emergency lighting coverage with photometric calculations.
• Power distribution – A standard commercial board is fine; no specialised high-load machinery is planned. The design should simply balance normal gym equipment, HVAC connection points and general socket circuits while providing room for future expansion.

Please prepare drawings and schedules in AutoCAD or Revit (whichever you prefer) and use Dialux/Relux or similar for lighting calculations. All work must align with local electrical codes and any relevant IEC/AS/NFPA sections.

Deliverables I need from you:
• Single-line diagrams and load calculations
• Lighting layout with lux plots and emergency overlay
• Circuit schedules and panel board schedules
• Cable sizing, containment routing and breaker selection
• A brief design report summarising assumptions and compliance references
