Project Title: AutoCAD Design Lab 4 – College Descriptive Geometry (Point to a Plane)
I'm looking for an experienced AutoCAD professional with a strong background in descriptive geometry and engineering drafting to assist me with a college-level AutoCAD assignment involving an underground ore deposit and point-to-plane geometry.
This is a college assignment, so accuracy and following the professor's instructions are very important. I already have the original AutoCAD DWG file and PDF instructions.
I need assistance developing a complete and accurate reference drawing that includes all required auxiliary views, geometry, measurements, and labels.
Project Requirements:
Use the provided plane 1-2-3 representing an underground ore deposit.
Point A is located on the earth's surface at an elevation of 420.50 feet.
Construct point B as the shortest perpendicular distance from point A to the deposit.
Use a vein thickness of 10.00 feet.
Determine the strike and dip of the deposit.
Determine the horizontal distance (HD) and vertical distance (VD) from point A to the deposit.
Determine the elevation of point B.
Determine the slope direction of the deposit.
Construct the necessary auxiliary views and correctly label the geometry.
Ensure all measurements and calculations are accurate.
Expected Deliverables:
A complete AutoCAD DWG reference drawing.
A PDF showing the finished drawing.

Files Provided:
