Freelance Web Developer Needed — College Discovery & Admission Platform

I am looking for an experienced full-stack web developer or small development team to build an MVP for a student-focused college discovery and admission platform.

A. Project Overview

The platform will help students discover colleges, compare them, explore courses and admission information, find nearby accommodation, and eventually complete their admission journey through the platform.

The platform should be designed with scalability in mind, as we plan to expand the number of colleges and features over time.

B. Main Features

1. College Discovery

- Search colleges
- Search by location, course, stream, university, etc.
- Advanced filtering and sorting
- College listing cards

2. College Profile Pages

Each college profile should include:

- College name, location and affiliation
- NAAC accreditation/grade
- Platform recommendation score
- Current student count
- Alumni count
- Total students who have completed their studies
- Courses offered
- Fees
- Admission requirements and process
- Campus/infrastructure information
- Hostel information
- Placement/outcome information where available
- Photos and other relevant information

3. College Comparison

- Allow students to select multiple colleges
- Compare fees, courses, accreditation, platform score, student statistics, facilities, etc.

4. Admission System

- Course selection
- Eligibility information
- Application process
- Seat/application booking
- Admission/enrollment workflow
- Student dashboard

5. Accommodation

- Nearby PG/mess/hostel listings
- Distance-based search
- Filters for price, facilities, gender, food, etc.

6. Student Community

- Students joining the same college can eventually discover/connect with other students.

7. Scholarship Module

- The platform will include a scholarship program linked to the admission/enrollment journey.
- Detailed scholarship workflow will be provided during development.

C. Admin Dashboard

A powerful admin panel is essential.

Admins should be able to:

- Add/edit/delete colleges
- Add courses
- Update fees
- Update admission information
- Manage college statistics
- Manage accreditation/ranking information
- Manage accommodation listings
- Manage students/applications
- Manage scholarship applications
- Upload images/documents
- Verify and publish information

College data must not be hard-coded into the frontend. It should be stored in a proper database and managed through the backend/admin panel.

D. Technical Requirements

I am looking for someone who can handle:

- Responsive modern frontend
- Backend/API
- Database design
- Authentication
- Admin dashboard
- Search & filtering
- Scalable architecture
- Deployment and basic server configuration

I am open to suggestions regarding the technology stack, but please explain why you recommend your stack.

E. Design

The platform should feel:

- Modern
- Premium
- Trustworthy
- Student-friendly
- Fast and mobile responsive

The UI should not look like a generic college website or basic template.

F. Important

We do not have the complete college database ready yet.

The system should therefore be built so that we can initially add a small number of colleges and continuously expand the database later through the admin panel.
