College Biology Explanations With Examples

I’m working through college-level biology and need clear, engaging explanations that connect textbook ideas to real, day-to-day situations. If glycolysis can be likened to a city’s power grid, or gene regulation to traffic control, that’s exactly the kind of perspective that helps me lock concepts in place.

You should be comfortable unpacking complex material, weaving in quick numerical or cross-science references whenever a little math or physics insight sharpens the point. I’ll come to you each week with a list of lecture topics or reading passages; you’ll return concise write-ups, annotated diagrams, and a short voice or video walkthrough highlighting the key “aha!” moments.

Deliverables each session
• A written summary (≈1–2 pages) using everyday analogies
• Any supportive sketches/figures you create (hand-drawn or digital)
• A 5–10 minute recorded explanation, screen-share or whiteboard style

I review the material, send follow-up questions if something still feels fuzzy, and we iterate once per topic until the explanation lands. Consistency, clarity, and creativity in examples matter more than breadth, but if you also enjoy dipping into other sciences or math when relevant, that’s a bonus.
