I’m looking for a clean, production-ready 2D file set for a wooden Islamic stand that combines a Quran rest, prayer-mat bars and a small candle holder. The unit must finish at 80 cm W × 35 cm D × 110 cm H and be cut from 11–12 mm MDF.
Before you decide to take this on, please watch the reference reel I posted here: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DUgaW_DDQzr/ — the mashrabiya lattice shown there captures the geometric style I want engraved into the panels. I’m not after calligraphy; the classic pierced mashrabiya look is perfect.
Key structural features I need designed into the files
• Front angled surface sized for an open Mushaf
• Rear rack for extra Qurans
• Side or lower bars to hang rolled prayer mats
• Slot-in or fixed candle stand that matches the overall style
Deliverables
1. CNC-ready 2D cut files (DXF, AI or SVG) laid out per panel, each side separated and clearly named.
2. Dedicated toolpath layer for the engraving pattern.
3. Assembly drawing or exploded view so a carpenter can put the stand together without guesswork.
4. One revision cycle to resolve any fit or machining issues.
Please respect a 3 mm minimum bit diameter, add dog-bones where they’re needed for tight internal corners and keep slot tolerances tight for MDF. I’ll be importing your files into VCarve, so standard layer naming conventions are appreciated.
If you’re comfortable with mashrabiya geometry and flat-pack joinery, let’s talk.
