The reel at https://www.instagram.com/reels/DUgaW_DDQzr/ shows the exact style of stand I’m after. I already drafted a rough sketch, but I haven’t converted it into a proper CAD file yet and could use your guidance on the best way to move forward.
Here’s what’s fixed:
• Material: 12 mm MDF (nominal sheet thickness measures about 11 mm)
• Overall height: 120 cm
• Depth front-to-back: 35 cm nesting and bit i will use by mey self try to make a single sheet 1220*2440mm
I need a production-ready file that I can send straight to a CNC router—ideally DXF or DWG with clean vectors and tool-paths suited to 12 mm MDF. Dog-bone fillets, tab placement, and any other machining considerations can be included at your discretion as long as the finished parts slot together cleanly.
Please outline:
1. The design steps you recommend from rough sketch to cut-file.
2. The file formats you’ll deliver.
3. Any clarification you need from me before starting.
Once the file is confirmed, I’ll move directly to machining, so accuracy around thickness and joinery tolerances is critical.
