I’m looking to turn a rough concept—right now it’s only sketched out in reference photos—into a tangible 3D prototype that I can test for fit and basic function. I’ll need support across the full workflow:

• Translating my images and notes into an accurate CAD model
• Preparing tool-paths suitable for CNC machining
• Milling the part and shipping the finished prototype to me, ready for a test-fit session

Wood isn’t the goal here; this piece needs to be machined in a material that will behave like the final production part, so please recommend something cost-effective yet sturdy enough for functional testing.

Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks or similar is critical, along with a track record of producing dimensionally accurate CNC parts. If you can also iterate quickly after the first test, that’s a big plus.

When you reply, let me know which CAD tool you’d use, the CNC equipment you have access to, and a rough turnaround time for both the digital file and the physical prototype.
