Club Appointment Booking App

I run a chain of clubs and need a mobile app that lets members book their workout or class slots without calling reception. The same build must run smoothly on both iOS and Android.

Core flow
• A member signs in, the app pings our existing REST API and confirms whether the membership is active or expired. Only active members can continue to the booking screen.
• The timetable shown in the app is generated from values we control: slot start time, end time, duration and the maximum number of people allowed per slot are all parameters I want to adjust from our back-office system and have reflected in real time. Each club to be manageable separately through back office.
• Members choose a free slot, receive a push notification as a reminder, and can cancel or reschedule inside the app—changes should immediately free or re-allocate the place in the same slot table.

Technical expectations
I’m open to React Native, Flutter or separate native builds as long as the user experience stays consistent across platforms and the codebase is maintainable. The app must talk to our API using token-based authentication; we’ll supply endpoint documentation and test keys. No direct database connections or manual uploads—everything lives behind the API. Testing will first be done using excel data.

Deliverables
1. iOS and Android build ready for App Store / Google Play submission
2. Well-documented source code with clear instructions for internal hand-off
3. Integration with our API for login, membership status and slot data
4. Push notification set-up (Firebase/APNs) for booking reminders
5. Staging build for user acceptance testing plus a short test plan outlining success criteria

I’d like iterative milestones so we can review the booking flow, API calls and notification logic early, then move on to polish and store deployment.
