This is a remote position.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting application deployments, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security. The role works closely with Software Engineers, DevOps, Security, and Product teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across production and staging environments.
Support application deployment and release processes in cloud environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable deployments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cloud architecture.
Implement security best practices across cloud environments.
Support CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
Manage cloud resources, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
Required Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems.
Experience working in Agile and collaborative engineering environments.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Technical Skills
Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
Scripting: Python, Bash, or similar
Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
Networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancers)
Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
