I have a folder of scanned documents waiting in a shared drive. Each file needs to look crisp, legible, and uniformly aligned before it is moved to its final destination.

Here is the flow: you’ll pull each scan from the drive, remove any visible stains or stray marks, balance brightness and contrast so the text pops, then crop and straighten so every page sits square on the canvas. Once a document is cleaned, you’ll save it in the same resolution (JPEG or PDF, whichever the original uses), apply the file-naming convention I’ll share, and place the finished version back into the “Processed” sub-folder on the drive.

When all pages are complete, log the filenames in the Google Sheet I provide so I can cross-check progress at a glance. No automation is set up on my end, so this is entirely manual work—attention to detail is more valuable to me than speed.

I’m happy to answer tool-specific questions, but any mainstream editor such as Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity Photo, or an equivalent is fine as long as the output looks clean and consistent. I’ll spot-check several files before signing off.

If you enjoy repetitive but precise tasks and can keep everything organised in the shared drive, let’s get started.
