Clean Portfolio Website Build

I need a straightforward portfolio site whose sole focus is a Projects/Work section where visitors can browse my completed jobs. The look must be modern, fast-loading, and fully responsive so it feels polished on mobile and desktop alike.

Here’s what matters most to me:
• A visually engaging grid or carousel that lets me add project thumbnails, short descriptions, and links to deeper case studies if needed.
• Smooth navigation and subtle animations that highlight my work without slowing the page.
• Clean, maintainable code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ‑ or a lightweight framework such as React, Next.js, or Vue if you prefer) handed over in a Git-ready folder.
• Easy instructions for updating or adding new projects in the future; a simple CMS hook-up (e.g., Netlify CMS, Sanity, or WordPress headless) is welcome but not essential if you can make content edits painless.
