Summary
Claude AI Architect / Trainer — Enable Dev Team on AI-Assisted Development & Testing
We are an AI-native IT consulting and engineering firm looking for an expert in Anthropic's Claude ecosystem to train and upskill our engineering team on using Claude effectively across the software development lifecycle — particularly for coding, code review, and testing workflows. This is a hands-on engagement combining live training sessions with practical workflow setup for our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on training sessions (workshops/live coding sessions) for our development team on using Claude (Claude Code, Claude API, and/or Claude in IDE/CLI tools) for day-to-day development
- Design best practices and workflows for AI-assisted coding, code review, debugging, and automated testing
- Help set up prompt patterns, custom instructions, and reusable templates tailored to our tech stack
- Advise on integrating Claude into our existing CI/CD pipeline for tasks like test generation, code review, and documentation
- Train the team on effective prompt engineering for complex, multi-step engineering tasks
- Share guardrails and QA practices for reviewing AI-generated code before merging
- Provide guidance on when to use different Claude models/tools appropriately for cost and performance tradeoffs
- Create internal documentation/playbooks the team can reference after the engagement ends
Requirements:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using Claude (Claude Code, Claude API, or Claude Desktop/IDE integrations) in real production development workflows
- Strong understanding of software development practices — our stack is primarily MERN (React, Node.js), AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS/SNS), SQL/NoSQL databases, and Jenkins CI/CD
- Experience with AI-assisted testing strategies (unit, integration, automated test generation)
- Prior experience training or mentoring engineering teams (workshops, pairing sessions, or structured onboarding)
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to a team with varying AI familiarity
- Familiarity with prompt engineering best practices and tool/function calling concepts
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations
- Background in AI/ML engineering or LLMOps
- Experience training teams in regulated industries (healthcare/fintech), given our compliance-heavy client base
Engagement Details:
- Type: Short-term engagement (e.g., 2–4 weeks) with option to extend for ongoing advisory
- Format: Live virtual sessions + async documentation, flexible around team's timezone
- Please include in your proposal: examples of past Claude-based training/enablement work, your own dev background, and proposed session structure.
