Verification Requirement: Begin your proposal with the phrase "SILHOUETTE CHECK" so I know you read the brief. Proposals generated by automated scripts or lacking this phrase will be archived immediately without review. This is for solo freelancers only; absolutely no agencies or outsourced teams.
The Task:
I am providing the file P2SideTrim.fbx, a vintage reference photo, and a sample image demonstrating exactly what the tips should look like for the rear of the trim. Your task is to resculpt only the outer-facing surface so it mirrors the smooth, sweeping contour of the classic prop. I am not looking for a new groove or a pronounced flange—just an accurate reproduction of that original silhouette.
Crucial Geometric Constraints:
The Tips: The front tips must feature a smooth, continuous bullnose taper. The rear tips must precisely match the provided sample image. There must be zero flat flanging, stepped geometry, or blunt vertical faces on any tip.
The Fit: The inner curved face that mates to the phaser body must remain untouched so the part still drops straight back in without the slightest gap.
The Origin: Please keep the object’s origin, scale, and bounding box exactly as they are now; the piece has to snap into my master assembly with zero realignment.
Topology Matters:
100% clean, quad-dominant mesh flow across all compound curves.
Absolutely no complex ngons, pinched poles, or chaotic edge routing.
The finished mesh must be structurally sound and ready for texturing in Substance Painter.
Mandatory "Proof-on-Screen" Requirement:
Before I approve the final milestone or release any funds, you must provide structural proof of your geometry. You will be required to submit standard 3D viewport screenshots showing:
Straight orthographic camera views (Front, Top, Back, and Side).
Pure white viewport shading with the wireframe overlay turned on.
Note: Pre-rendered videos, arbitrary angled shots, or smoothed images without wireframes will not be accepted for review.
Final Deliverable:
The updated FBX (or OBJ) that opens at the same world origin, alongside the required viewport screenshots proving pristine topology.
