Classic Family Retirement Video

I’m compiling decades of home-movie clips and photos into a heartfelt retirement tribute for a close family member. All the source files are organised by year; what I need now is a polished montage that feels timeless rather than trendy.

Here’s the creative direction: keep the edit classic and simple—clean cuts, tasteful dissolves, no flashy effects. Please weave in soft background music (I can supply tracks or you may suggest royalty-free options), add smooth transitions between segments, and place short text captions to mark dates, locations, and a few key milestones.

I will hand over the raw MP4s, old digitised Super 8 footage, and a folder of stills. You handle colour balancing, audio levelling, basic noise reduction where needed, and export a high-quality 1080p (or higher) master.

Deliverables
• Final mastered video file (H.264 or ProRes)
• Separate stereo music track mixdown
• Editable project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut—whichever you work in)

Once I review a first cut, I’ll give consolidated notes; two rounds of minor tweaks should be plenty. Looking forward to seeing how you can bring these memories to life.
