I’m ready to take my Class 11 Accountancy manuscript from raw text to a polished, CBSE-friendly textbook and I’m looking for a designer who can own the full interior build in Adobe InDesign.
Here’s what matters most to me: strong, readable typography; a rock-solid, reusable chapter template; and carefully placed illustrations, diagrams and accounting tables that feel detailed and realistic rather than cartoonish. Each page should flow naturally while still giving students visual breathing room through call-out boxes, clear headers and footers, and accurate page numbering.
The final file set needs to be:
• An editable InDesign package with paragraph, character and object styles so future chapters slot in seamlessly
• Linked, high-resolution artwork and diagrams, all labelled for easy updates
• A press-ready PDF that meets standard offset print specs (CMYK, 300 dpi, proper bleeds) as well as an RGB screen-optimised PDF for digital distribution
Before we go to press, I’d like a short sample chapter laid out so we can lock in the hierarchy, colour palette and grid system. Once approved, you can roll the system across the remaining chapters.
If premium, modern textbook layout is your niche and you’re comfortable balancing academic clarity with a clean, contemporary look, let’s talk timelines and your proposed workflow.
