Quick Video Editing Assembly: 2-Min Tech Demo Reel (MIT Maker Style)
Budget: ₹2,000 (Fixed)
Deadline: Today before 12:00 AM Midnight
Project Overview
Looking for a video editor to assemble raw footage, UI screenshots, and code clips into a clean, fast-paced 2-minute technical demo video (MIT Maker / Tech Portfolio style).
We are not looking for heavy custom motion graphics or complex VFX—just solid video assembly, good pacing, quick cuts, simple screen zooms on key details, and audio sync.
Assets Provided
site_broll.zip – Raw field & hardware clips
annotated.webm – Video footage of optical detection
defect_dashboard.png & mvis_dashboard.png – System UI screenshots
code_graph.webm & code_scroll.webm – Codebase recordings
Video Flow & Timeline Guide
0:00 – 0:40 | Phase 1: Hardware & Site
Cut together the raw site B-roll and hardware setup. Keep cuts relatively brisk.
0:40 – 1:15 | Phase 2: Vision & Tracking
Show the system in action using annotated.webm. Highlight the optical tracking.
1:15 – 1:40 | Phase 3: Defect Alerts & Dashboard
Display defect_dashboard.png and mvis_dashboard.png. Use simple zoom-ins/pan effects to highlight alert boxes and key stats.
1:40 – 2:00 | Phase 4: Code & Architecture
Wrap up with code_graph.webm and code_scroll.webm showing system architecture and code scale.
Simple Deliverables
Sequence & Cut: Assemble all provided clips in order based on the 4 phases above.
Audio: Sync to an upbeat background tech audio track (free/royalty-free library music is fine).
Basic Effects: Simple text titles (Phase names/labels) and basic zoom-ins on UI elements.
Output: 1080p MP4 file.
Budget: ₹2,000 (Fixed)
