I’m looking for a cinematographer-editor who already feels at home in a café setting. The assignment is to plan, shoot, and deliver a polished brand-story promo that spotlights our signature food and drinks while still giving viewers a taste of our overall vibe. You’ll need to handle everything from camera setup through the final colour-graded edit, so solid on-set instincts and fast post-production skills are essential.
We move fast here, so I need the finished video as soon as humanly possible. Expect full access to the baristas, kitchen, and front-of-house to capture the pours, latte art, and plating details that define us. Natural light plays a big role in the shop; please be comfortable balancing it with practical fixtures or a small lighting kit. Sound won’t be interview-heavy, but ambient café audio and music licensing decisions will still matter for mood.
Deliverables
• 60-90-second promotional film (1080p or 4K, H.264) ready for website and social media
• Any supporting lower-third graphics or light text overlays integrated into the cut
• Colour-corrected, sound-mixed master file plus a set of trimmed b-roll clips for future use
• Transfer of raw footage on drive or cloud at hand-off
That’s the scope—if you know how to make an espresso shot look cinematic and can turn the edit around quickly, let’s talk.
