Cinematic Video Color Correction

I have a professionally shot video that is fully assembled; it only needs a meticulous color pass to elevate it to a true cinematic finish. I’m aiming for rich contrast, nuanced shadows, and film-style tones without losing detail or introducing artificial saturation. All clips are supplied in 4K ProRes, along with a reference still that shows the mood I want to match.
Please tell me, in a concise but thorough proposal, how you plan to approach the grade—software (DaVinci Resolve preferred but not mandatory), LUT strategy, any secondary isolation or tracking you expect to use, and an estimated turnaround. If you spot shots that require exposure balancing or noise reduction before grading, mention that in your plan so I can arrange the assets accordingly.
Deliverable:
• Final graded master in the same resolution and codec as the original, plus a lightweight H.264 preview for quick review.
I’ll review proposals that clearly explain your grading workflow and timeline, then we can line up the hand-off right away.
