Cinematic Travel Log Video Editing

I have several hours of raw footage from a recent trip and I want to turn it into a short, cinematic-and-dramatic travel log that puts my activities and adventures at center stage. Think sweeping color-graded shots, carefully timed cuts, tasteful speed-ramping, and a soundtrack that drives the story without overpowering it.

The footage is already organized by day. I need you to weave it together into a coherent narrative, polish it with cinematic transitions, stabilize where needed, add subtle motion graphics for location call-outs, and mix in royalty-free music and ambient sound so the final piece feels like a mini-documentary rather than a slideshow.

I’m interested in editors who can point to past work that shows real experience with travel or adventure projects—please link to examples and let me know which tools you used (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.). A brief note on how you’d approach pacing and color will help me understand your creative process.

Deliverables
• A mastered 4K video (around 4-6 minutes) ready for YouTube and Instagram
• A shorter 60-second vertical cut for Reels/Stories
• All project files neatly organized so I can re-edit in the future if needed
