Cinematic Poetry Event Reel

I’m putting together a 20-25 second vertical Instagram Reel (9:16) to spark excitement for Rang-e-Alfaaz’s upcoming open-mic on Sunday, 20 September. The piece has to feel like you’ve stepped into a soulful, modern mehfil—cinematic, emotional, and magnetic to young poets, writers, and poetry lovers.

Here’s the atmosphere I’m after: authentic handheld or gimbal shots of young performers leaning into the mic, close-ups of expressive faces, gentle cutaways to an absorbed audience, all tied together with smooth, film-style transitions. Elegant English typography should weave key lines of copy through the visuals without distracting from them.

Must-haves
• Rang-e-Alfaaz logo tastefully worked into the edit
• Strong hook in the first 2-3 seconds
• Poetry / shayari / open-mic visuals (no venue name on-screen)
• Soulful, literary-sounding background music that’s fully licensed for social use
• Final frame: clear “DM TO JOIN” call-to-action
• Colour grade and motion graphics that feel professionally shot, never AI-generated
