Cinematic Documentary Editor Needed

I have a multi-episode YouTube series that follows artists and other creatives in depth. Each cut will run 15–25 minutes and is built from a mix of intimate interviews, talking-head segments, and plenty of observational B-roll. The raw material is all logged and synced; what I need now is an editor who can find the emotional spine of every story and let it unfold with purposeful pacing—no quick-fire, flashy YouTuber tricks, just thoughtful visual rhythm, strong narrative structure, and moments that are allowed to breathe.
The mood I’m after is cinematic, intimate, reflective, and ultimately engaging. Music, sound design, and tasteful colour work all play a part, so you should feel at home weaving score and ambient audio under dialogue, balancing levels, and applying a light yet polished grade in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable professional suite.
Deliverables (per episode)
• Locked 15–25-minute master with balanced audio, colour pass, and lower-thirds/titles
• One round of revisions after first review
• Final export in 4K and 1080p H.264 + project files
I’ll supply organised drives containing the full interview line-cuts and all B-roll as soon as we agree. Turnaround is 2 weeks from the moment you receive the media.
When you reply, please include links to your strongest documentary, branded-doc, or narrative short work that shows you can craft story, manage tone, and hold an audience without gimmicks. I’m excited to see how you’d shape these stories.
