Cinematic Art Installation Film Shoot
Budget / Salary£250–750

I’ve completed a large-scale, immersive installation and now need a skilled Director of Photography to translate the finished work into a standalone cinematic piece for gallery and museum projection. The priority is the artwork itself—no behind-the-scenes or visitor footage—so every frame should heighten the texture, scale, and atmosphere of the installation.
Think slow, considered camera moves, rich lighting, and expressive grading that feels more arthouse than documentary. A short, compelling score and carefully mixed ambient sound will complete the experience, allowing curators to screen the film in a loop beside the physical work.
I’ll provide uninterrupted access to the space, and any artistic statements you need for context. You’ll bring the camera, lenses, and a small crew as required; ARRI, RED, or an equivalent cinema-level setup is ideal, with post handled in DaVinci Resolve or similar.
Deliverables
• 4-5 minute master cut in 4K (flat ProRes + final graded version)
• 30-second teaser for showreels
• Clean audio mix and separate stems
• Color-graded stills pulled from the footage for catalog use
Acceptance criteria: the master cut must project sharply on a 4K gallery projector without visible noise, banding, or exposure shifts, and the grade must remain true to the installation’s in-person palette under neutral lighting.
If this aligns with your reel and you can schedule a one-day shoot within the next three weeks, let’s talk logistics and lock in a date.
