Christmas Ornament Design Inspired by Haiku

I am seeking an artist to create a 3” circular Christmas ornament design inspired by a haiku written by my mother. The artwork should depict multiple people with diverse skin tones sitting in church pews during Christmas, with the main focus on a mother, father, and baby (1–2 years old with dark curly hair). The baby is facing away, looking at the congregation behind them.

The congregation should include two women wearing Nigerian geles, an older white couple, and as many other diverse individuals as possible (e.g., from Italy, India, the Philippines, Ireland, Poland, Asia). People should appear to be listening to someone speaking from the pulpit.

The style can be impressionistic rather than detailed portraits. The church architecture can be minimal or abstract. If architectural details are included there would be warm wood tones and subtle holiday decorations like evergreen sprigs with red bows on pews and garland in the choir loft.

The haiku will be placed in the bottom third of the circle in small lettering:
*during the sermon
the baby’s smile spreading
throughout the church*

Deliverables:
- A 300dpi digital file suitable for printing ornaments.
- One rough sketch for approval before finalizing the design.
