I want to sharpen my Mandarin through friendly, regular conversation that stays grounded in the things I do every day—.NET development, light video editing, system maintenance, and a fair bit of Excel data wrangling. The goal is simple: use real-world topics I already know to strengthen my vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills.
Here is how I picture our collaboration: we meet online at a relaxed pace (there’s no fixed deadline), chat entirely in Chinese, and you step in with gentle corrections and explanations whenever I slip. After each call, a brief note with key new words or grammar points will help me review. If you can weave technical jargon or workplace scenarios into the dialogue, even better.
When you apply, please share examples of past work that show your experience helping learners progress—anything from tutoring clips to student feedback is perfect. I’m flexible on scheduling and open to suggestions about tools (Zoom, WeChat, Skype, etc.).
Looking forward to practising with someone who enjoys tech talk, casual conversation, and the occasional deep dive into spreadsheets just as much as I do.
