We are an established European company with over 100 products in our catalogue and regular purchasing activity in China. We are looking for an experienced sourcing and purchasing agent based in China to build a long-term working relationship.
We need someone who can identify reliable manufacturers, negotiate competitive prices and manage the purchasing process with strong attention to quality and detail.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Find and verify suitable manufacturers.
- Communicate directly with factories and negotiate prices, MOQs, payment terms and production timelines.
- Compare quotations with clear specifications and complete cost breakdowns.
- Coordinate samples and check product quality against our requirements.
- Manage custom branding, packaging and product modifications.
- Follow up on production and arrange quality inspections before shipment.
- Obtain relevant product documentation and available EU compliance reports.
- Coordinate with our freight forwarder and suppliers for FOB shipments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Based in China, with fluent Mandarin and good English.
- Proven experience sourcing products for overseas buyers, preferably in Europe.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to distinguish manufacturers from trading companies.
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing, quality control and export procedures.
- Proactive communication, organised reporting and reliable follow-up.
- Transparent service fees and disclosure of any supplier commissions.
We need someone who delivers verified options and follows through, rather than simply sending links from Alibaba or 1688. Price matters, but quality and supplier reliability are equally important.
HOW WE WILL START
We will begin with one product to evaluate your sourcing approach, negotiation skills and quality of results. If the collaboration works well, there is potential for ongoing work across our catalogue.
