China-Based Virtual Assistant Support

I need a proactive virtual assistant who is physically in China and comfortable working online as my on-the-ground point of contact. Typical assignments will be ad-hoc: one week I might ask you to reach out to a handful of potential suppliers on 1688, the next to verify a product’s availability in a local market, translate a short email thread, or oversee the pickup and courier booking for a small parcel. Every task will come with clear instructions, a deadline, and the exact information I expect back—usually a brief written summary, any quotations gathered, and supporting screenshots or files.

Reliability matters more to me than volume: fast acknowledgment of new tasks, honest time estimates, and concise progress updates are essential. You should already be comfortable with tools such as WeChat, Alibaba/1688, Taobao, Excel or Google Sheets, and popular courier portals; please mention any additional platforms you routinely use.

To start, tell me:
• where in China you are located,
• your typical response window, and
• one example of a recent sourcing or coordination task you completed.

The first paid mini-assignment will follow once we agree on communication channels and workflow. Steady, long-term collaboration is on the table if we mesh well.
